The Senior Product Information Specialist at Hogarth acts as a critical verifier of relevant vehicle facts, product accuracy, and general product compliance for all agency communications. This role reviews and provides direction on all images, claims, functionality, and messaging. They ensure critical product information is proactively provided for digital, brand, paid, and earned media opportunities. Responsibilities include model year PDM updates, MYCO site updates, Color and Trim projects, maintaining product grids, and securing samples to provide visual direction.

  • Prepare and participate in product-related client deliverables, including Owner Site and Color and Trim.
  • Ensure accurate depictions of cross-brand technologies like Ford Pass and SYNC are compliant.
  • Understand the Specialist role in partnership with OGC/Legal Compliance teams.
  • Help agency team members and the client understand critical product information.
  • Act as the go-to person for questions, concerns, and inquiries for assigned vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently in an off-site capacity.
  • Ability to make quick, educated decisions that are compliant and accurate.
  • Ability to put in extra effort, time, and commitment for client deliverables.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to concisely identify and convey pertinent information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient with computers and willing to learn new applications.
  • At least 3 years in the Product Information Specialist role or previous agency equivalency.

What does a Senior Product Information Specialist do at Hogarth?

The Senior Product Information Specialist acts as a critical verifier of relevant vehicle facts, product accuracy, and general product compliance for all agency communications for their assigned vehicles. This role reviews and provides direction on all images, claims, functionality, and messaging in each communication. The Senior Product Information Specialist also ensures that critical product information is proactively provided in advance for these communications, including digital, brand, paid and earned media opportunities.

They review all agency communications for assigned vehicles, emphasis is put on applied product information skills for content creation within the digital space – including model year PDM updates, MYCO site updates, Color and Trim projects, the maintenance of associated product grids and specifications, and securing samples and reference to provide visual direction to teams on any corrections or updates needed.

In addition, they also ensure that vehicle claims, material samples, and associated carryover items are updated, filed and accessible to a wide agency and client team throughout the lifecycle of the products they are assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, retain, and apply robust vehicle knowledge for client and agency use. Ensure all communications associated with assigned vehicles are reviewed and commented upon accurately and within deadlines
  • Mentor other team members appropriately
  • Provide updates of carryover vehicles – including What’s New documents, claim updates and re-substantiation, PDM or other asset updates, Color and Trim changes and updates, and other related tasks associated with carryover vehicles
  • Actively engage and understand all agency workflows so work can be commented upon and otherwise reviewed for product accuracy on time with proper project resolution. Emphasis on MYCO assignments, Build and Price reviews and Model/Options/Specs creation and verification
  • Active preparation and participation in product-related client deliverables, including Owner Site, Color and Trim, and sample and reference materials needed for CG updates and validation
  • Provide critical feedback to Product Information Supervisor for departmental improvements and progress
  • Ensure accurate depictions of cross-brand technologies like Ford Pass, SYNC, and other technologies/connected services are compliant within your vehicles
  • Understanding of Specialist role in partnership with OGC/Legal Compliance teams to ensure communications are compliant and properly substantiated
  • Help agency team members and the client understand critical product information and its relationship within effective advertising. Mentor Product Specialists as needed
  • Attend client routable and associated meetings as needed
  • Attend shoots or other production activities as needed to ensure accuracy in all product depictions
  • Develop knowledge of departmental best practices, including updating claims and affidavits, client interaction, product reviews, and insight regarding the entire automotive industry
  • Act as the go-to person for questions, concerns, problems, and general inquiries for the assigned vehicles Accumulate knowledge of the automotive industry and the advertising industry
