Job Summary
The Gennevilliers Campus is the hub for design, development, and support of major defense systems. The SSN Sector (Ground-to-Air and Naval Solutions) focuses on naval communication systems, ground-to-air segments with cyber-secured components, and Tactical Data Links (TDL). As an EDM, you will define and manage the engineering for product manufacturing, collaborating with the Product Line Manager and solution architect. Your responsibilities include overseeing the product roadmap, managing planning, scope, quality, and costs, leading the Agile Product Train, and coordinating technical teams for development and delivery.
Must Have
- Define and manage the engineering vision for product manufacturing.
- Pilot the product roadmap development in alignment with PPM priorities.
- Monitor planning, scope, quality (technical debt), and costs for product manufacturing.
- Lead the Agile Product Train for each Program Increment (Specifications, Development, Validation).
- Manage and animate team workload.
- Ensure technical synchronization between teams for product activities.
- Higher education (Bac +4/5 or equivalent).
- First experience in project management (internship or apprenticeship).
- Knowledge of MS Project (or equivalent), I-OBEYA, and pull-flow management tools (e.g., KANBANs under JIRA).
- Demonstrated capabilities in technical project management.
- Good written and spoken English.

The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is quickly accessible by public transport.
The SSN (Ground-to-Air and Naval Solutions) Sector carries out its activities in the design, development, qualification, delivery, installation & commissioning of naval communication systems, ground-to-air segments with cyber-secured components, and Tactical Data Links (TDL), mainly within the framework of complex projects/systems applied to the world of Defense.
The department operates in many countries where communication systems are delivered: France, United Kingdom, Serbia, Greece, South America, North Africa (Morocco, Egypt), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Emirates, Indonesia, India, etc.
The amount of each contract amounts to several million euros.
In this context, you are attached to the DELIVERY department (25 people) within the SSN Ground-to-Air Network & Naval sector (150 people).
Your main role as a product EDM is the definition and management of the engineering for product manufacturing in collaboration with the Product Line Manager (PPM) and the solution architect.
YOUR MISSIONS: EMPLOYEE'S DAILY LIFE
- You are responsible for defining the vision for product manufacturing engineering and monitoring the associated operational performance.
- You ensure the management of the manufacturing/development of the product roadmap in alignment with the priorities defined by the PPM via the Product Steering Committee.
- You manage the monitoring of compliance with planning, scope, quality (technical debt monitoring), and cost commitments for product manufacturing.
- You lead the Agile Product Train for each Program Increment (PI): Specifications, Developments, and Validation, as well as the synchronization of the delivery of each sub-component of the product.
- You ensure the management and monitoring of team workload and their animation.
- You manage the technical synchronization between teams for the execution of specification, development, validation, and product delivery activities.
YOUR PROFILE:
With higher education (Bac +4/5, or equivalent), you have initial experience in project management (internship or apprenticeship) and wish to develop your skills in the field of switching systems and tactical data links in Ground-to-Air & Naval environments.
You also have knowledge of MS Project (or equivalent), I-OBEYA (development task management tool), and a pull-flow management tool (e.g., KANBANs under JIRA) and technical facts (functional debt monitoring).
You have demonstrated your abilities and potential in technical project management.
You have a short, medium, and long-term vision for establishing product roadmaps.
You are curious and enjoy learning daily.
You have an aptitude for teamwork.
You have a good level of written and spoken English.
