Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for managing the quality assurance of ASIC and/or FPGA developments from contract initiation to delivery. This role ensures compliance with all contractual requirements, acts as a central interface with internal and external clients, and coordinates with various external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include contributing to technical reviews, supervising quality monitoring, managing anomalies, and controlling technical documentation to ensure component conformity with applicable standards.

Your daily life
The Toulouse Champollion site brings together activities in satellite system engineering, payload design and production, ground segment development and qualification. It integrates a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures, as well as activities dedicated to low-temperature science, specifically the development and production of micromechanical coolers for demanding markets.
Within the Quality team, you are responsible for managing the quality assurance of ASIC and/or FPGA developments, from contract start to delivery, as well as monitoring program activities for other component families.
In this capacity, you ensure compliance with all contractual requirements and play a central interface role with clients (internal or external) and various external stakeholders (subcontractors, industrial partners, suppliers).
By joining us, your main missions are:
- Actively contribute to technical reviews related to ASIC/FPGA development and support the selection and integration of EEE components in collaboration with the Engineering teams.
- Supervise quality monitoring in the implementation of the ASIC/FPGA development process according to different maturity levels.
- Coordinate the management of anomalies, technical facts, and non-conformities to ensure their effective processing and resolution.
- Produce and control associated technical documentation, particularly As-design/As-built documentation, ensuring the conformity of selected components with applicable standards.
- Provide regular reporting to the PA manager and the client during contractual reviews, relying on the expertise of expert quality managers (components, M&P, RAD, operational safety) and other experts (mechanics, thermal, EMC, etc.).
Your profile:

You hold a BAC+5 engineering degree in electronics and can demonstrate the following skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC and/or FPGA development, as well as good general knowledge of electronic components.
- Knowledge of standards and norms specific to the space sector (such as ECSS) would be a plus.
- Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Availability for occasional assignments in France and abroad.
