Boomi is seeking a Channel Strategy & Operations Lead to join their Revenue Operations team in Vancouver. This hybrid role (in-office Tuesday-Thursday) focuses on providing operational and analytical support to the Channel organization. Key responsibilities include facilitating and deploying the operating plan for the Alliances & Channel team, optimizing processes for efficiency, evaluating and improving existing channel operations, and owning the operational relationship with the Channel Partner team. The role also involves proactively identifying new opportunities to enhance channel strategy, coordinating with various departments to implement channel strategies, and providing performance analytics and recommendations to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in channel strategy or sales operations, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency in tools like Power BI and SFDC.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in channel strategy or sales operations
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Power BI)
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Experience with CRM (SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite
Good to have:
  • MBA is a plus
  • Familiarity with Partner Management tools

THIS ROLE IS A HYBRID ROLE BASED IN VANCOUVER, BC - HYBRID - IN OFFICE TUES-THURS

Boomi is looking for a Channel Strategy & Operations Lead to provide operational and analytical support to the Channel organization. You will be a part of the Analytics & Operations function within the Revenue Operations team. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the operational relationship with our Channel Partner team, ensuring that we are not only meeting our current objectives but also proactively identifying new challenges and opportunities to add value to the business.

What You'll Do : 

  • Facilitate and deploy the operating plan for the Alliances & Channel team, ensuring that all processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Evaluate existing channel operations processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes that drive operational excellence including Channel Compensation auditing.

  • Own the operational relationship with the Channel Partner team, ensuring alignment and collaboration across sales leaders and sales representatives.

  • Proactively identify new problems and opportunities to enhance the channel strategy and operations, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and self-initiative.

  • Coordinate with Channel leadership, Partner Programs, Strategic Finance, and Enablement to develop and implement channel strategies that align with the company’s overall sales and marketing goals.

  • Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to senior Channel and Sales leadership on the channel strategy based on performance analytics.

The Experience You Bring : 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • 7+ years of experience in channel strategy, sales operations, or a related role.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques including Power BI, or equivalent.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive plans.

  • Experience with CRM software (SFDC), Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Power BI, as well as familiarity with Partner Management tools.
