Nightfall is seeking an entrepreneurial generalist for a high-impact Chief of Staff role, reporting directly to the CEO. This cross-functional position involves working closely with founders on all business aspects, including revenue operations, HR, and strategic projects. The ideal candidate will innovate new programs, engage cross-functionally, and operate with high ownership, gaining broad exposure to various business functions at a rapid pace. Responsibilities include optimizing sales strategy, executing ad hoc projects, enhancing employee experience, streamlining processes, and driving growth initiatives from inception to completion.

  • Drive strategic sales operations, optimizing strategy, planning, forecasting, compensation, enablement, and efficiency.

  • Understand all departments, their people, goals, and projects; fill gaps to move priorities forward.
  • Recognize opportunities and execute them with direct founder approval.
  • Innovate new tools, processes, campaigns, and growth strategies from the ground up.
  • Ensure fluid information flow, prepare briefings, and transfer knowledge across the organization.
  • Refine and communicate founder priorities or company positioning internally and externally.
  • Help structure deals and diligence potential partnership and investment opportunities.

About the Position

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial generalist to join Nightfall in a high-impact role. You will work directly with the founders across all aspects of the company's needs and the business and will report to the company's CEO. The role is cross functional and cuts across revenue operations, HR, and strategic projects. This role is for you if you're interested in broad exposure to many business functions and people at an extremely fast pace. In this role, you will innovate new programs from scratch, engage cross-functionally, and operate with high ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic sales operations by partnering with GTM leadership to optimize sales strategy, planning, forecasting, compensation, enablement, and efficiency, while identifying growth opportunities and streamlining processes to maximize revenue impact
  • Execute ad hoc projects as directed by the founders
  • Drive operational excellence and culture by managing key people initiatives and cross-functional collaboration to enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness
  • Understand all departments and their respective people, goals, and projects; Jump in and fill to move key priorities forward; Streamline processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Recognize opportunities and execute them with direct approval from the founders
  • Innovate new tools, processes, campaigns, and growth strategies from the ground up; Scope and deliver proof of concepts and bring new ideas to fruition from start to finish
  • Ensure information moves fluidly across the organization; Prepare briefings for all meetings; Transfer knowledge from meetings to appropriate team members; Help build systems to share information and to institutionalize knowledge gained
  • Refine and communicate founder priorities or company positioning to others in the company and in the market
  • Help structure deals and diligence potential partnership and investment opportunities

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in revenue operations, management consulting, private equity, or venture capital or has served in a Chief of Staff or General Manager capacity previously
  • Technical background or comfort with technical content
  • Thrives on multitasking & comfort with ambiguity
  • Fluency with modern tools for productivity and collaboration
  • Intellectually curious about data security and AI
  • Willing to make recommendations and decisions with incomplete information
  • Excels at receiving an open-ended project or challenge, putting structure to it, and getting it done effectively with limited guidance
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and has a passion for finding ways to accomplish the goal
  • Not intimidated by contracts or negotiations
  • Effective, precise, and concise communicator
  • High attention to detail, precision, and data-driven mindset
