Job Description

As a Client Events Manager within the Light Division's Communication Department, you will directly assist the Communication Director in organizing client and internal events for the Division and the Group. This includes professional trade shows, client events, and institutional events across the United States, Asia, and Europe. Your role involves planning, budget management, venue selection, supplier coordination, on-site support, and post-event evaluation to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement.
Must have:
  • Participate in the conceptualization, planning, and execution of trade shows and client events
  • Collaborate with Headquarters, national and Divisional teams for coordination and logistics
  • Contribute to the development of event budgets and ensure adherence
  • Participate in venue selection and validate suitability
  • Supervise event setup and dismantling
  • Serve as interface with manufacturer clients
  • Identify, select, and monitor service providers and suppliers
  • Ensure impeccable service to participants during events
  • Conduct post-event feedback to measure success and identify areas for improvement
  • Promote events internally and with other departments

Your mission:

Within the Communication Department of the Light Division, you will work directly with the Communication Director. Your role will be to assist in the realization of client and internal events for the Division and the Group.

Events include:

  • Professional trade shows (United States, Asia, Europe)
  • Client events (United States, Europe, Asia)
  • Institutional events (technical congresses, conferences)

Your main responsibilities:

Event planning and organization

  • Participate in the conceptualization, planning, and execution of trade shows and client events.
  • Collaborate with Headquarters, national and Divisional teams to ensure coordination and logistics.

Budget management

  • Contribute to the development of event budgets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to budget envelopes.

Venue selection and setup

  • Participate in venue selection and validate their suitability with event objectives.
  • Supervise the setup and dismantling of events.
  • Serve as interface with manufacturer clients.

Supplier coordination

  • Identify, select, and monitor service providers and suppliers.

On-site presence during events

  • Ensure impeccable service to participants and respond to their requests.

Post-event evaluation

  • Conduct feedback to measure the success of events and identify areas for improvement.

Internal collaboration

  • Promote events within internal communication and with other departments.

Desired profile:

  • Bac+5 degree (business school, communication, engineering, or equivalent).
  • First successful experience in event management, ideally in an industrial or international environment.
  • Curious, rigorous, and proactive.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) essential.
  • Skills in project management, supplier coordination, and budget monitoring.
