Job Description

Toppan Merrill, a global technology leader in regulatory disclosure and communications, seeks a Client Services Account Manager for its Sartell, MN team. This hybrid role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction and success by managing accounts, addressing needs, and providing exceptional service. The manager will build strong client relationships, coordinate with internal teams to meet expectations, and proactively identify growth opportunities. The position requires 2-3 years of account management experience, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, contributing to the company's commitment to market expertise and unparalleled customer service.
Must have:
  • Serve as the lead representative for day-to-day client business activities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Oversee preparation, initiation, and execution of client projects and services.
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to agreed-upon scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Accountable for invoicing, contract pricing, auditing, and validation.
  • Regularly meet with clients to review progress and address concerns.
  • Develop and participate in business reviews using account performance metrics.
  • Prepare internal Annual Account Reviews and provide input on yearly budgeting.
  • Manage orders, including communication of system failures and follow-up.
  • Manage inventory, including evaluation of print management and methodology.
  • Administer items, ensuring accuracy of set-up (cost, sell, routings, mapping, templating).
  • Review financial statements monthly; audit for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Initiate, participate in, and communicate service recovery/non-conformance.
  • Coordinate engagement of print estimates, mailings, and special projects.
  • Effectively manage client expectations and diffuse complex client situations.
  • Possess 2-3 years related experience in account management or client services.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Be adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.

Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Account Manager to join our Sartell, MN team. You will ensure the satisfaction and success of clients by managing their accounts, addressing their needs, and providing exceptional service. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations, and proactively identifying opportunities for account growth and improvement.

Work Location: Hybrid – Work from Home, Onsite Tuesday and Wednesday in Sartell, MN

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead representative for the day-to-day client business activities, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Oversee the preparation, initiation and execution of client projects and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to agreed-upon scope, budget and quality standards
  • Overall accountability to the invoicing, application of contract pricing, auditing and validation.
  • Regularly meet with clients to review progress, address concerns, and identify opportunities for further engagement.
  • Develop and actively participate in business reviews; using account performance metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement, highlight key achievement and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare internal Annual Account Reviews and provide input on yearly budgeting
  • Order management; including communication of system failures, alert process and follow-up.
  • Inventory management; including evaluation of print management and methodology
  • Item administration: ensure the accuracy of the item set-up which includes cost verses sell, routings, mapping and templating.
  • Review financial statements monthly; audit for accuracy, identify problem areas and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Service Recovery/Non-conformance initiation, participation and communication.
  • Coordinate engagement of print estimates, mailings and special projects.
  • Effectively manage client expectations and diffuse complex client situations

About You:

  • 2-3 years related experience in account management or client services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing work environment
