Job Summary:
The Clinic Manager is responsible for the daily management of a clinic. Managing all operational policies and procedures, clinic financials, patient experience and community outreach with an owner’s mindset, to ensure profitability. A successful clinic manager is intrinsically motivated, challenge-driven, rethinks traditions and genuinely cares about employees and patients.

Essential Functions
Operations Management
People & Process
- Effectively communicate and operationalize our mission, vision and values in the clinic
- Implement staffing standards for hiring, training/development, scheduling, timecards, payroll, and talent management according to best practices
- Maintain a system of confidentiality according to policies and procedures
- Assess team member needs for scope of role, development needs, succession planning and clinic outcomes; create and promote development plans accordingly
- Empower decision making at all clinic levels possible to strengthen trust within the team
- Promote development opportunities for self and team and continuing education within budget
- Lead regular team meetings, resolve conflict when needed, motivate employees and foster a culture of communication that promotes employee retention
Environment of Care
- In partnership with the Clinic Medical Director - set, communicate and monitor clinical excellence standards of care and safety standards in keeping with regulatory agencies and policy; this includes daily standards, emergency preparedness and hazardous materials/waste programs, in addition security, equipment and utilities management
- Maintain a safe and clean environment; enforce compliance and clinic response to emergencies, OSHA standards, and infection control
- Build positive relationships with clinicians, support staff, patients, community and vendors; manage conflict with care and empathy
- Implement policies and procedures to meet state and federal guidelines
- Maintain management competence and knowledge of trends in clinical practice to include changes in industry patient care standards and evaluation of the same
- Communicate and respond to patient inquiries with a sense of urgency
Financial Accountability
Budget & Supplies
- Monitor and control clinic expenditures within approved budget using administrative guidelines, organization benchmarks and anticipated scope of services with an owner’s mindset
- Utilize vendors and purchasing systems according to policy
- Demonstrate working knowledge of financial statements, clinic billing procedures and all insurance types and payor guidelines; adjusts, in coordination with district and regional leadership
- Review, update and standardize forms and procedures as needed
Financial Performance
- Prepare operating budgets, including volume projections and expense and revenue estimates
- Find ways to improve outcomes/solutions and collaborate with your peers
- Institute necessary modifications to procedures and clinic resource commitments as financial changes dictate
- Prepare documentation and participate in evaluation and acquisition of capital equipment and supplies in partnership with the District Manager

Qualifications (education/experience/skills)
Minimum:
- 1+ year of healthcare leadership experience and/or combination of healthcare experience and education
- Active listener that uses soft skills to build and maintain trusting relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal, time management, planning, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree with healthcare management experience or equivalent combination of experience
- 2+ years experience leading others in a healthcare setting
- Solid understanding of financial statements, P&L management and HR business processes
- Active listener that uses soft skills to build and maintain trusting relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal, time management, planning, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Eligibility:
