Role description
We are focused on creating a state-of-the-art, real-time, soft-body physics engine and making it widely available for entertainment and simulation purposes. Our most widely known product is our game BeamNG.drive, which is now available on Steam in Early Access.
To support our current and future growth in Asia-Pacific, with a strong focus on the Chinese market, we are seeking an experienced Community & Marketing Specialist (APAC) responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns aimed at growing, engaging, and retaining our community. The role is based in mainland China (preferred), includes up to 20% regional travel, and requires routine collaboration with EU-based teams.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns across the APAC region
- Work closely with local agencies and partners to optimize strategic initiatives
Content, Channels & Localisation
- Manage day-to-day community and content for Chinese-specific platforms (including but not limited to Douyin, Bilibili, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, QQ, Wechat), plus regional social media, storefronts, blogs and social media
- Own localisation workflows and cultural adaptations for all game, marketing and support copy, ensuring appropriate compliance with regional regulations
Community & Partnerships
- Represent the company to players in the region: addressing support inquiries, managing any player-sentiment crisis, gathering and relaying actionable feedback to development teams
- Identify, negotiate and brief KOLs/influencers to amplify brand reach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media outlets, platform reps and event organisers
- Organise and support community events, engagement programs and partner activations at local and regional level

- Iterate on strategy based on data-driven insights to improve growth, engagement and retention.
