Attentive is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join their Product Marketing team. The role involves analyzing the competitive landscape within the marketing technology sector, focusing on SMS, email, and cross-channel engagement platforms. The analyst will track competitor product capabilities, pricing, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to provide insights that influence product positioning and market success. Key responsibilities include maintaining internal battlecards and comparison matrices, conducting deep dives into competitor features, and synthesizing intelligence from various sources to identify trends and threats. The analyst will also contribute to product launch planning and strategic messaging by contextualizing new capabilities within the competitive environment and support the win/loss interview program.
Must have:
  • 2-4 years experience in product marketing or competitive intelligence.
  • Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to distill large volumes of information.
Good to have:
  • Experience in martech, SMS, and email marketing.

About the Role

 We’re looking for a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join our Product Marketing team and help Attentive stay one step ahead in the dynamic marketing technology landscape. This role will focus on analyzing our competitive environment, including product capabilities, pricing, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, to deliver insights that shape how we position our platform and win in the market.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing Sales, Strategy, and Product teams to surface actionable intelligence and create materials that help Attentive differentiate effectively across channels and customer conversations.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their product marketing or analyst career who’s naturally curious, analytically driven, and excited to contribute to a high-impact team at the center of go-to-market execution.


What You’ll Accomplish

    • Track and analyze the competitive landscape across martech, with a focus on SMS, email, and cross-channel engagement platforms
    • Maintain and evolve internal battlecards in Klue, product comparison matrices, and win/loss summaries to support Sales and Customer Success teams
    • Conduct deep dives into competitor feature sets, product launches, and pricing to inform positioning and product strategy
    • Partner with Product Marketing to identify and articulate Attentive’s differentiators across marketing and sales assets
    • Synthesize intelligence from a variety of sources (including customer calls, earnings reports, analyst briefings, and the field) to build a clear picture of trends and threats
    • Deliver regular competitive briefs and real-time insights for cross-functional stakeholders
    • Contribute to product launch planning and strategic messaging by contextualizing new capabilities in the competitive environment
    • Support win/loss interview program


Your Expertise

    • 2–4 years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, strategy, or a related B2B SaaS role
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill large volumes of information into clear, actionable insights
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable building polished internal deliverables
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with GTM, Product, and leadership stakeholders
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
    • Experience in the martech space, especially SMS and email marketing platforms, is a strong plus
    • Familiarity with CI tools like Klue

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $130,000 annually + equity + benefits
- Equity is a substantial part of the total compensation package
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
