Job Description

The Consultant, Product Manager supports the Consumer Solutions team in delivering against the overall strategic direction and market success of TransUnion’s solutions. Reporting to the Snr. Director, Consumer Solutions this role will support the coordination and execution of business-as-usual (RUN) activities and other product-related tasks as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall product efficiency. Responsibilities include supporting product management activities, assisting with market research and product analytics, creating financial projections, coordinating product queries, collaborating across teams, supporting existing projects, and assisting with policy reviews. The consultant will create new product documentation and training materials as directed to meet business needs.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in business administration or similar role.
  • Curious and customer focused with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of product management and agile methodology.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

What You'll Bring:

Impact You'll Make:

The Consultant, Product Manager supports the Consumer Solutions team in delivering against the overall strategic direction and market success of TransUnion’s solutions. Reporting to the Snr. Director, Consumer Solutions this role will support the coordination and execution of business-as-usual (RUN) activities and other product-related tasks as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall product efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day product management activities relating to existing solutions and new product development / extension initiatives.
  • Assist with market research, product analytics, competitive analysis, and gathering user feedback where applicable to support new product development or enhancements.
  • Creates financial projections, including budget projections, cost projections and revenue for new and existing solutions working with Product Managers working alongside our Finance team.
  • Ability to collate and assimilate complex information into logical and easily presentable material.
  • Coordination and intake processing of product queries, pricing and policy exception requests, including tracking, SLA management and reporting across all Consumer Solution products.
  • Collaboration across cross-functional teams for information gathering and investigations to support Product Management queries and issue resolution.
  • Coordination across cross-functional teams to streamline processes, communication requirements and similar processes.
  • Support across existing projects where required.
  • Support policy reviews and updates as defined by governance or business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the respective Product Managers in creating new product documentation and coordination of training material for sales enablement or other key audiences.
  • Additional ad-hoc assignments as directed to meet business needs.
     

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
