Content Designer - Global Payment (Third-party Associate)

The Global Payments team at ByteDance is seeking a Content Designer (Third-party Associate) to support their content design teams. This role involves delivering high-quality, scalable content solutions, creating user-centric content standards, improving cross-market consistency, and accelerating localization quality. The designer will execute content design and UX writing for ByteDance Global Payment products, contribute to content guidelines, and collaborate with various teams to drive a cohesive product narrative and improve content quality.

Must Have

• Execute content design and UX writing for ByteDance Global Payment products.
• Craft, proofread, and edit concise, conversational product UI content.
• Contribute to and evolve content, voice, and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with design, product, research, and marketing teams.
• 3+ years of content design or relevant UX writing experience for e-commerce focused web or mobile applications.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent.
• Writing portfolio including user interface copy, microcopy, user education.
• Experience designing and shipping end-to-end products with complicated flows.
• Experience collaborating with product management, product design, user research, engineering, and localization teams.
• Experience using Figma and content management software.

Good to Have

• Prior background in banking, digital payments, or financial technology industries.

This includes creating and maintaining user centric content standards, improving cross-market consistency, accelerating localization quality, and supporting product teams with clear and effective UX content. - Execute content design and UX writing for ByteDance Global Payment products. - Support initiatives to improve our processes and increase our ability to drive impact. - Craft, proofread, and edit concise, conversational product UI content. - Contribute to and evolve the content, voice, and style guidelines for ByteDance Global Payment products. - Meet and align with teams across global time zones to drive a cohesive product narrative. - Collaborate with and influence design, product, research, and marketing teams in a fast-paced work environment. - Participate in design critiques to drive consistency and improve content quality across ByteDance Global Payment products. - Collaborate and exchange insight with fellow Content Designers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - 3+ years of content design or relevant UX writing experience for e-commerce focused web or mobile applications. - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent - Writing portfolio including, but not limited to: user interface copy, microcopy, user education. - Experience designing and shipping end-to-end products with complicated flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases. - Experience collaborating with product management, product design, user research, engineering, and localization teams. - Experience using Figma and content management software.
