Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Content Producer to lead the development and execution of compelling content across various platforms. This role involves overseeing the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to production, distribution, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging content that aligns with brand objectives, drives audience engagement, and supports business goals, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with marketing, brand, product, and sales teams to develop content strategies.
  • Conduct audience research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting.
  • Develop comprehensive content calendars outlining themes, formats, channels, and KPIs.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, style guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end production of various content types (written, visual, video, audio).
  • Oversee and manage external vendors and internal content creators.
  • Manage content budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Act as a hands-on producer for key projects, including scripting, storyboarding, directing, and editing.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, accessibility, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Review, edit, and approve all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand adherence.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all content touchpoints.
  • Implement and enforce content governance processes and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior content creators, fostering their professional development.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment between content and other departments.
  • Present content strategies and results to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging content formats, platform changes, and best practices.
  • Identify and experiment with new content opportunities and technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Relevant years of progressive experience in content production, content marketing, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful content projects.

What does a Content Producer do at Hogarth?

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Content Producer to lead the development and execution of compelling content across various platforms. The Content Producer will be responsible for overseeing the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to production, distribution, and performance analysis. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging content that aligns with brand objectives, drives audience engagement, and supports business goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, an excellent communicator, and possess a deep understanding of diverse content formats and digital best practices.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders:

You will work closely with the local and global teams.

Requirements

Content Strategy & Planning:

  • Collaborate with marketing, brand, product, and sales teams to develop and refine content strategies that support overall business objectives and marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct audience research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to identify content opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop comprehensive content calendars, outlining themes, formats, channels, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, style guidelines, and legal requirements.

Content Production & Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end production of a wide range of content types, including but not limited to:
  • Written: Blog posts, articles, website copy, whitepapers, case studies, e-books, social media copy, email newsletters.
  • Visual: Infographics, static images, presentations, digital ads.
  • Video: Short-form social videos, long-form explainer videos, testimonials, brand films, live streams.
  • Audio: Podcasts, voiceovers.
  • Oversee and manage external vendors (e.g., freelance writers, videographers, designers, photographers) and internal content creators.
  • Manage content budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Act as a hands-on producer for key projects, including scripting, storyboarding, directing, and editing as needed.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, accessibility, and platform-specific requirements.

Quality Control & Brand Consistency:

  • Review, edit, and approve all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammatical correctness, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all content touchpoints.
  • Implement and enforce content governance processes and best practices.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Mentor and guide junior content creators, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional development.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between content and other departments.
  • Present content strategies and results to stakeholders at various levels.

Industry Expertise:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging content formats, platform changes, and best practices in content marketing and digital media.
  • Identify and experiment with new content opportunities and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field. Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience: relevant years of progressive experience in content production, content marketing, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful content projects (e.g., written, video, visual, campaigns).
