Job Description

As a Content Producer at Hogarth, you will manage all content studio projects, from online videos to social media campaigns. You will oversee production activities, work with stakeholders, ensure timely project delivery within budget, and be responsible for creating great content. The role requires you to be an expert on integrated marketing campaigns, manage project finances, and identify potential risks. You'll also be expected to enhance production processes, optimize work streams, and build partnerships within the agency and with creative stakeholders. You should have experience across the production lifecycle from in-camera capture to multi-channel deployment.
Must have:
  • 3-4 years of production experience in an interactive or integrated agency.
  • Active user of current social media apps (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Ability to solve problems and manage stakeholder expectations.

What does a Content Producer do at Hogarth?

As a Content Producer, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of all content studio projects including but not limited to: online videos, social video and still shoots, social and/or mobile platform campaigns. You are responsible for your team delivering a completed project on time, on specification, and on budget. You must demonstrate flexibility, an excellent understanding of project management tools and best-practice methodology, and flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced integrated solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage small to medium scale projects independently from initiation through completion and delivery.
  • Oversee all production activities within the Content Studio (pre-production, shoots, post-production).
  • Work with key stake holders with the agency and external, to create, develop, produce, and deliver content to our client.
  • Ensure that content teams have the space and time to develop a great content, while maximizing efficiency
  • Serve as the expert on integrated marketing campaigns, working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced joint agency environment.
  • Working with senior producers and executive producers to execute content and social production on larger campaigns.
  • Serve as the agency contact on your projects along with the executive producer and or director of content production.
  • Develop realistic and justifiable estimates, scope and timeline for all projects, and be accountable for the scope and budget as the project progresses.
  • Track ongoing costs throughout project lifecycle and reconcile estimates to actuals on all projects.
  • Proactively identify project issues/risks, assists in issue/risk resolution and escalate to the executive producer.
  • Addresses quality of work and timeliness of deliverables with client; pushes back tactfully with the consultation with executive producer or director of content production.
  • Ongoing review of production process and practices with an eye toward enhancing and increasing effectiveness
  • Optimizes work streams and finds ways to create output more efficiently (e.g., team reallocation)
  • Builds partnership within and outside of the Production team across the agency and with creative stakeholders.
  • Experience across the production lifecycle from in camera capture to multi-channel deployment
  • Strong understanding of the post process and the resources needed to deliver projects across stills, video, animation and digital.

What You’ll Have:

  • 3-4 years of production experience in an interactive or integrated agency or similar environment
  • Active user of and familiar with current social media apps including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems with the solution that works for all parties without compromising the quality of the deliverables or the project with assistance from the executive producer and director of content production.
  • Innate understanding of the project finance, staffing and profitability and the relationship to project management
  • Successful history of project leadership to clients and account, with demonstrable experience in setting and managing stakeholder expectations
  • A professional but approachable demeanor, and the ability to handle with grace the uncertainties associated with a consulting environment.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $100,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
