Job Description

As a Creative Lead, you will work daily in collaboration with Creative Leadership, Production Leads, Marketing Leadership, and Program Managers in a demanding, fast-paced environment. You have a portfolio of varied work with demonstrated success building brands, particularly lifestyle brands. You will lead the development and execution of high-impact copy and campaign concepts that resonate with global audiences, set and maintain the creative bar by inspiring and guiding the copy team, and champion the brand voice. You will partner closely with design, marketing, product, and executive teams and mentor junior writers. You have 10+ years of experience as a copywriter or editor in an agency, publishing, or journalism environment, including interactive media and direct marketing.

As a Creative Lead, you will be working daily in collaboration with Creative Leadership, Production Leads, Marketing Leadership, and Program Managers in a demanding, fast-paced environment. You have a portfolio of varied work with demonstrated success building brands, particularly lifestyle brands. 

Frequently acting as the senior creative leader of an integrated project team, you effectively communicate with fellow team members and other internal partners, strategically multi-task, and proactively solve problems, all while meeting tight production deadlines. You make decisions confidently and quickly, in an effort to support the client’s creative vision.


You Will:

  • Lead the development and execution of high-impact copy and campaign concepts that resonate with global audiences.
  • Set and maintain the creative bar by inspiring and guiding the copy team
  • Champion the brand voice, ensuring consistency, innovation, and clarity across all touchpoints.
  • Partner closely with design, marketing, product, and executive teams to align messaging with overall brand strategy.
  • Mentor junior writers and champion a collaborative culture.
  • Review all major copy deliverables, providing constructive feedback and direction.

You Have:

  • 10+ years’ experience as a copywriter or editor in an agency, publishing, or journalism environment—including experience with interactive media and direct marketing.
  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating best-in-class digital work. 
  • Experience collaborating closely with Leadership, Product, and Legal/Policy teams
  • Ability to translate market research, data, and strategy to creative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills—you can effectively communicate your creative decisions, and what you passed up and why.  
  • Exceptional presentation skills—you can quickly bring anyone into your thinking, without overly explaining the simple stuff, and share an idea in a compelling and confident way.
  • Empathy for the customer/user, and empathy for individuals on a creative team.
