Job Description

The Creative Director will define the creative vision and establish the foundations of games, including story, tone, player fantasy, and game experience. They will foster a creative culture, guide content directors, and present innovative ideas to enhance player engagement. They will also need to understand player trends, guide early prototyping, and communicate progress. The role requires managing quality targets and presenting the game internally, ensuring the creative vision is maintained throughout the development process. This individual will be responsible for managing the creative aspects of the game, ensuring a cohesive and engaging player experience.
Must have:
  • 6+ years in the video game industry as Creative Director.
  • Experience building and leading game development teams.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Effective cross-team communication skills across all game development fields.
  • Ability to consider technical and production feasibility in concept creation.
  • Mentorship skills to guide and share expertise within the team.
  • Good knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal and their limitations.
  • Very good command of English.

Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Defining a clear, creative vision, and establishing the foundations of our games (meaning, story, tone, player fantasy, game experience).
  • Establish and driving a creative culture that engages world class talent, maximizes team potential, and encourages proactive cross-discipline collaboration.
  • Providing guidance to all content directors and making iterative reviews to ensure the vision in maintained.
  • Presenting innovative ideas to drive the player experience and engagement to the next level.
  • Understanding new trends driving player expectations and behaviors.
  • Guiding early prototyping with innovative approach.
  • Communicating progress and resolution of issues with the ability to set guidelines,
  • Presenting game in communications, including delivering presentations and taking responsibility for internal reviews with stakeholders.
  • Managing the quality targets and achieved results.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in the video game industry, with shipped AAA titles as Creative Director.
  • Proven experience building and leading game development teams. 
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Effective cross-team communication skills: you have the know-how to comfortably communicate with all gamedev fields (programming, animation, art, design, marketing).
  • Ability to take technical and production feasibility into account when coming up with concepts.
  • Mentorship skills: you are always ready to share your expertise to guide the team.
  • Good knowledge of game engines (e.g. Unity or Unreal) and their limitations.
  • Very good command of English.
