Job Description
Your goal:
- Support the Lead Game Designer & Game Director in delivering the vision for events and live updates within the Dying Light Franchise,
- Design and implement features that will empower designers to engage our audience and operate the game live, in line with the game direction.
- Set best practices in implementing live features, taking in account metrics and feedback, as well as implementing efficient processes in updating data and balance for the live game.
Your daily tasks:
- Cooperating with the Game Director/Lead Game Designer on defining the systems needed to operate live games within the Dying Light Franchise.
- Designing, implementing and improving systems that will allow us to build sustainable and scalable content for the live operation of the game.
- Overviewing data entry and creating best practices in data structure and integration for other designers to use.
- Ensuring we have the proper telemetry in place as well as helping to develop scripts to increase our capacity to have data driven features.
- Supporting implementation of designed features in a structured, iterative manner,
- Communicating with development, production and marketing teams to ensure precise information flow & consistency across the board,
- Creating and updating clear and consistent design documentation used by members of the development team and supporting disciplines (marketing, PR),
- Reporting progress, setbacks and possible solutions to Lead Game Designer and other members of the design team,
- Helping your fellow team members to deliver their tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in one live titles, supporting update and live operation, preferably on a AAA title.
- Open and and supportive attitude towards all members of the game development team,
- Structured, professional approach to game design and game production methodologies,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Very good command of English,
- Knowledge of statistics and/or data analytics tools,
- Knowledge of visual scripting tools / languages,
- True passion for video games, knowledge of latest titles and current trends in the industry, especially regarding Online, F2P and Live Operations market.
