LiveOps Manager

Scopely is seeking a LiveOps Manager for the Star Trek Fleet Command team in Bangalore. This role involves overseeing the execution and troubleshooting of live operations, assisting Product Managers to ensure smooth, engaging, and high-performing live events. Responsibilities include planning and optimizing in-game events, managing the LiveOps calendar, real-time issue management, performance monitoring, process optimization, and innovation to enhance player experience for this successful 4X MMO mobile game.

Must Have

• Support planning and oversee execution, and optimization of in-game events, seasonal content, and time-limited offers.
• Maintain and manage the LiveOps calendar, ensuring timely execution of updates, events, and promotions.
• Monitor live events, identify issues, and lead rapid troubleshooting efforts.
• Analyze event performance data, player engagement trends, and revenue impact.
• Develop and refine LiveOps workflows to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance response times.
• Identify opportunities for new event formats, engagement tactics, and LiveOps innovations.
• 5+ years in LiveOps, game operations, or related roles.
• Strong background in building live events, seasonal content, and time-limited in-game promotions.
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues in a fast-paced, live service environment.
• Experience working with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Engineering to execute live events seamlessly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of player behaviors and motivations in free-to-play multiplayer games.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Live Operations Manager to oversee the execution and troubleshooting of live operations for Star Trek Fleet Command. This individual will be assisting a team of Product Managers, ensuring smooth, engaging, and high-performing live events and operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing live operations for free-to-play multiplayer games. Responsibilities include:

• Live Operations Execution: Support the planning and oversee the execution, and optimization of in-game events, seasonal content, and time-limited offers
• Operational Calendar Management: Maintain and manage the LiveOps calendar, ensuring timely execution of updates, events, and promotions
• Real-Time Issue Management: Monitor live events, identify issues, and lead rapid troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime and player disruptions
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze event performance data, player engagement trends, and revenue impact to continuously improve LiveOps execution
• Process Optimization: Develop and refine LiveOps workflows to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance response times
• Innovation & Experimentation: Identify opportunities for new event formats, engagement tactics, and LiveOps innovations to enhance the player experience

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in LiveOps, game operations, or related roles,
• LiveOps Expertise: Strong background in building live events, seasonal content, and time-limited in-game promotions
• Problem-Solving Mentality: Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues in a fast-paced, live service environment
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Engineering to execute live events seamlessly
