Job Summary
Techland is seeking a Technical Animator with at least 5 years of experience in the video game industry. The role involves rigging and skinning characters, collaborating with art and animation teams, and developing/improving pipelines and engine tools. Candidates should have strong knowledge of 3D packages, human anatomy, physics simulation, and scripting, preferably Python, along with excellent communication skills and a good command of English.
Must Have
- Rigging and skinning models of characters and creatures
- Cooperating with modelers and animators to create high-quality assets
- Developing and improving pipeline for art and animation team
- Working with the Engine team to develop animation systems, creating and improving engine tools
- At least 5 years of experience on a similar position in video games industry
- Very good knowledge of rigging and skinning
- Experience with in-house or commercial game engines (e.g. Unreal)
- Very good understanding of human anatomy
- Deep knowledge of 3D packages (Max or Maya)
- Physics simulation experience
- Knowledge of scripting (Python preferred)
- Good command of English
