The Role
Contract: Parental Leave Coverage
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week in December, full-time in January 2026
Hourly Pay Range: $67-72
Brainrider is looking for a Creative Project Manager to join our client embedded team. This role will begin part-time in December (up to 20 hours per week) for onboarding and transition, then shift to full-time in January 2026 for the duration of the coverage period.
As a Creative Project Manager for the Internal Communications team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and delivering creative assets that help inform, inspire, and connect employees across the company. You’ll oversee design and video-related projects from concept to completion, ensuring that timelines, resources, and communication flow seamlessly between stakeholders and the creative team.
This role requires a detail-oriented multitasker who can balance structure with creativity, someone who thrives on organization, communication, and collaboration in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do
Project Coordination
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of creative and design projects supporting internal communications.
- Partner with video producers to provide design support for storyboarding, brand development, and visual assets.
- Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring projects are completed on time, on brand, and within scope.
- Gather and incorporate feedback to refine creative outputs, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with Meta’s brand standards.
- Maintain organized workflows, proper file saving, and adherence to Meta’s security and share-permission protocols.
- Track timelines, resources, and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and adjusting schedules as priorities shift.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the main liaison between internal clients and the creative/design team.
- Manage intake and scoping of new requests, determining requirements, timelines, and resourcing needs (e.g., editorial, design, animation, Google Deck).
- Facilitate meetings, provide regular updates, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on goals, expectations, and progress.
- Monitor project go-live dates, track changes, and communicate updates to ensure visibility across all teams.
- Balance workloads across creative resources while conducting risk assessments for ongoing and upcoming projects.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in creative or design project management, ideally within an internal communications or brand environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to “gently push” projects forward and keep stakeholders on track.
- A positive, adaptive mindset for navigating evolving priorities and refining brand templates to suit content needs.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with both creative and non-creative partners.
- Attention to detail in tracking changes, managing deadlines, and maintaining consistency across deliverables.
- Project Management: G-Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Meta’s internal PMS tool _Tasks_ (similar to Jira).
- Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (familiarity helpful but not required).
- Communication: Excellent chat etiquette and proactive collaboration with designers, video producers, and editors to flag potential overlaps and manage upcoming workload.
Bonus
- Experience working in tech companies
