Job Description

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining positive account relationships by functioning as an in-store customer service contact in order to meet customer expectations and increase profits. This role involves ensuring product stocking, display setup, and merchandising, resolving store management concerns, monitoring inventory, and assisting with sales events and reports. The position requires at least one year of customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain positive account relationships as in-store customer service contact.
  • Ensure adequate stocking levels of product and literature POP materials.
  • Ensure displays are set properly and merchandising materials are in place.
  • Ensure product displays are constructed, in place on time, and maintained.
  • Visit stores according to schedule and resolve management concerns.
  • Inspect product quality and monitor inventory levels.
  • Conduct price comparisons and communicate information.
  • Assist in presenting product knowledge seminars.
  • Assist in resolving accounts receivable problems.
  • Work store openings and special sales events.
  • Prepare various reports and maintain records.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
Good to have:
  • Associate's degree

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works directly with customers or through 3rd party teams to ensure adequate stocking levels of product and product literature POP materials are present and available for consumers
  • Works directly with customers or through 3rd party teams to ensure that displays have been set properly and that merchandising materials are in their proper place in an agreed upon timeframe
  • Works directly with customers or through 3rd party teams to ensure that product displays are constructed and in place on time and maintained throughout the selling season
  • Visits stores in accordance with proposal schedule and resolves store management concerns and problems
  • Inspects product quality and monitor inventory levels
  • Conducts price comparisons and communicates information as required
  • Assists in the presentation of product knowledge seminars
  • Assists in resolving accounts receivable problems and opportunities
  • Works store openings and special sales events as required
  • Prepares various reports and maintains records as required
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
