Job Description

QS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Curricular Data Associate to join their team, focused on preparing learners for the future workforce. This role offers experience in AI-powered technologies, curricular analytics, technology development, and data management, positioning the associate at the intersection of education and technology. The associate will collaborate with higher education institutions worldwide, supporting analysis projects, understanding client needs, and influencing the QS Skills Taxonomy. The goal is to accurately capture relationships between skills, occupations, fields of study, and industries, assisting institutions globally in aligning with labor market demands and empowering students.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • High proficiency in written communication in both languages.
  • Experience in higher education institution (appreciated).

The role



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Curricular Data Associate to join our team, dedicated to preparing today's learners for tomorrow's workforce. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in AI-powered technologies, curricular analytics, technology development, and data management. You will work directly with the foundational elements of machine learning tools, positioning yourself at the intersection of education and technology while collaborating with higher education institutions worldwide.


As a key member of our curricular analysis team, you will play an essential role in developing analysis projects, understanding client needs, managing a portfolio of projects, and directly influencing the QS Skills Taxonomy. Our aim is to stay at the forefront of the industry by accurately capturing the relationships between skills, occupations, fields of study, and industries.

Our goal is to assist higher education institutions globally in aligning with labor market demands and empower students by providing clarity and actionable steps toward their unique professional aspirations.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in both English and Spanish, possess exceptional attention to detail, demonstrate strong teamwork and organizational skills, handle ambiguity with ease, and exhibit a high degree of ownership. Experience in data analysis and the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines are highly valued.


Key Responsibilities:


    • Support the design and structuring of insights reports for higher education programs, focusing on their employability relevance. Eventually, manage your own portfolio of programs, overseeing the entire cycle from inception to completion.
    • Assist in defining educational content based on research across diverse knowledge areas.
    • Discern labor market insights to guide recommendations for clients.
    • Conduct quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of client deliverables.
    • Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn about different disciplines and knowledge domains.
    • Map key skills and competencies associated with specific occupations and industry roles.
    • Contribute to the ongoing expansion of our skill taxonomy by supporting the development of occupational fields and skills in response to project portfolio demands.


    Must-Have Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with high proficiency in written communication in both languages.
    • Experience working within a higher education institution is highly appreciated.
