This role involves designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements as a Custom Software Engineer. Specifically, as an SAP IS-U ABAP developer, you will design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs for the SAP IS-U (Utilities) module, focusing on areas like billing, device management, and customer service. You will collaborate with various teams, develop solutions aligned with business objectives, and ensure applications are optimized for performance and usability. The role also includes problem-solving, providing support, and enhancing existing applications while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Must Have

• Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA
• Expertise in ISU Modules with IS-U Billing, Invoicing, Device Management, and FICA
• Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U processes, particularly in the utility industry
• Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SAP applications
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 for front-end development
• Knowledge of integration techniques with other SAP modules and third-party applications

Summary: As an SAP IS-U ABAP developer involves designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs for the SAP IS-U (Utilities) module, focusing on areas like billing, device management, and customer service. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing support and enhancements to existing applications while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications for SAP IS-U. - Apply technical knowledge to IS-U-specific areas such as Billing & Invoicing, Device Management, FICA (Financial Contract Accounts), and Customer Service to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features.
