Outerdawn is seeking a Data Analyst with a passion for game economies to join their team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing player behavior, balancing in-game economies, and providing insights to drive the evolution of Grimguard. The role involves developing reports, conducting A/B testing, translating complex data, and making recommendations to improve player satisfaction. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the design team to refine game economy features. The team is seeking an ambitious and passionate individual who is driven to see their games succeed.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in gaming.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of game design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data into insights.

We’re seeking a Data Analyst with a passion for game economies to join our team! You’ll play a critical role in analyzing player behavior, balancing our in-game economy, and providing insights that drive the evolution of Grimguard. Your work will be central to creating a rewarding and sustainable player experience.

What you will be doing:
  • Analyze gameplay data to understand player behavior, monetization patterns, and in-game economy health.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement, balance, and refine game economy features.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that track KPIs and provide actionable insights for game progression, retention, and monetization.
  • Conduct A/B testing and data-driven experiments to optimize game features and monetization strategies.
  • Translate complex data into accessible insights, making recommendations to improve player satisfaction and engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally with a focus on gaming or digital economies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker), and data analysis tools (Python, R).
  • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of player psychology and game design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
