Raxium seeks a Database Engineer to design, implement, and maintain relational database systems. Responsibilities include database architecture (tables, views), developing business logic using SQL, creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, adhering to software development standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with RDBMS, and the ability to manage multiple projects. On-call support is required. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in designing, installation, and managing database products.
  • 3 years of experience in developing application business logic using SQL, shell scripts and Python.
  • 3 years of experience in developing reports and dashboards.
  • Experience in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) table design and writing SQL queries.
  • Ability to work standard hours, including on-call support as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with Vertica databases.
  • Experience working in the semiconductor manufacturing facility.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

You're responsible for tuning and configuring our databases as well as building tools and scripts to monitor, troubleshoot and automate our systems. As you are writing automation for hundreds of machines, pages are serving up in real time, which means that the user has a seamless browsing experience.

With your technical expertise, you design, implement and improve processes, procedures and automation for all database-centric areas. You also test the systems in place and interface with external groups.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Architect databases (tables, views, etc.) and developing business logic using SQL statements.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for the Operations and Engineering teams using Power BI.
  • Adhere to software development standards and implementation of best practices in documenting user requirements, designing, coding, and testing software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Leadership, Engineers, Program Managers, and Data scientists, to thoroughly understand business and application needs.
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and work with minimal supervision.
