Job Description
Protofire is seeking a passionate and proactive DevOps Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Linux administration. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native and on-premise infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and collaborating with development teams to enhance application performance, security, and scalability. Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure is a strong plus.
Good To Have:
- Experience with blockchain infrastructure (e.g., node operation, validators, RPC endpoints).
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with distributed systems or Web3 technologies.
- Previous work on high-availability and fault-tolerant environments.
Must Have:

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems performance, uptime, and reliability.
- Containerize applications and manage Kubernetes clusters.
- Work on automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Collaborate with developers to improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures.
- 2–4 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong background in Linux administration.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Good scripting skills (Bash, Python).
- Proactive, autonomous, and willing to learn.
