Job Description:

INTRODUCTION:

Our organization is searching for a DevOps Engineer in maintaining and improving our software infrastructure. You'll collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and other IT pros in deploying, automating, and managing the software infrastructure. As a DevOps engineer you will also be responsible for setting up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring programs, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Roles & Magical Duties:

• Strong monitoring and maintaining services for keeping games stable Improve the whole lifecycle of system services from planning to go live strategy
• Optimize current CI/CD process and streamline automation effort for server provisioning and deployment
• Researching, designing and implementing solutions which will improve services
• More awesome projects in the pipeline.
• Working in self-managing teams, enabling you to have an incredible amount of ownership, autonomy and impact

Quest Prerequisites:

• A minimum of 2-4 years of mandatory professional experience in Build Automation along with strong hands-on experience in GCP or AWS
• Strong Linux-based systems skills with practical experience operating in a Cloud or virtualized environment.
• Experience in building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructures.
• Experience with Source Control Management Tools Like Github/Bitbucket/Azure Repos etc.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment experience using Cloud Devops Tools like Azure Devops or a variety of open-source technologies like Jenkins, GitHub, Gitlab.
• Strong knowledge of Deployment technologies using Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS) in particular.
• Strong knowledge of API Gateway/Reverse Proxy/ Ingress like NGINX, Contour, Azure Application Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of Monitoring tools like DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk, Cloud watch.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby and/or Perl).
• Good knowledge of Traffic Balancing, Routing and Debugging principles.
• Good understanding of enterprise standards and enterprise building principles.
• Good understanding of the mechanisms of Web-environment architectures approaches.
• Working Experience on Cloud Automation tools like Ansible/Terraform to automate infra setup.
• Infrastructure Capacity Planning and Cost to Serve analysis.
• Hands-on experience with databases including MySQL, Mongo & Elasticsearch
• Understanding of Service Mesh like Istio, AWS App mesh would be an added advantage.
• Working Experience on tools for progressive delivery like flagger etc would be an advantage.
