Job Description
Insider seeks a DevOps Engineer responsible for the company's technological well-being and impacting the development lifecycle. Responsibilities include leading distribution operations, automating site availability solutions, developing internal solutions, supporting continuous delivery and integration, improving inter-team communication, correcting development errors, creating analytical tools, conducting code reviews, ensuring service reliability and accessibility, and scaling cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud). The role involves working with Kubernetes, S3, RDS, ELB, ECS, Elastic Cache, Terraform/Terragrunt, Linux servers, Git, networking (VPCs, Security Groups), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and software distribution across testing, staging, and production systems. On-call rotations are required.
Must have:
- AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud experience
- Kubernetes, S3, RDS, ELB, ECS, Elastic Cache knowledge
- Terraform or Terragrunt deployment experience
- Linux server configuration and support
- Git and Git branching model proficiency
- Networking, VPCs, Security Groups expertise
- CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
- Docker technology knowledge
- Software distribution experience
- On-call availability
Good to have:

Job Details
A DevOps Engineer in Insider day in and day out;
- is responsible for Insider's technological well-being and has a lasting and profound impact on the Development Lifecycle,
- leads all phases of distribution operations, including the development and automation of solutions for site availability,
- develops internal solutions and applies best practices to further improve and automate site reliability,
- supports and develops continuous delivery and integration practices in collaboration with our development team,
- improves communication between development and operations teams, corrects errors in previous stages of development,
- creates analytical tools to provide actionable insights into application performance, efficiency and quality,
- analyzes and organizes in-depth code reviews to dynamically improve applications and ensure projects are completed on time,
- keeps our core and revenue-critical services and applications fast, stable, reliable and accessible, scales and protects our platform cloud infrastructure.
We want you to join us while we are taking a step into the future if you:
- have hands-on experience with AWS ,Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud (Kubernetes, S3, RDS, ELB, ECS, Elastic Cache) and a solid understanding of security applications,
- have a deployment experience in Terraform or Terragrunt with AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud,
- are comfortable configuring and supporting Linux-based servers and applications,
- are familiar with Git and Git Branching models,
- have a solid knowledge of networking, VPCs, Security Groups, and can troubleshoot any type of network traffic,
- have in-depth knowledge of designing, building and maintaining CI and CD data lines,
- have a good knowledge of Docker technologies,
- have experience in the distribution of a wide variety of software products for testing, staging and manufacturing systems,
- are ready to participate in On-Call rotations,
- have AWS, Google Cloud or Huawei Cloud certificate is a plus.
