Job Description
This role involves developing trading software for a top-tier hedge fund, specifically focusing on deployment pipelines for AI applications. The DevOps Engineer will build and support automation tools, troubleshoot inquiries and outages, and standardize workflows across QA, UAT, and PROD environments. The position requires collaboration with traders, portfolio managers, developers, and other engineers.
Good To Have:
- AWS specific experience in EC2, Lambda, RDS and SageMaker
- Building pipelines in Jenkins using Groovy
- Docker Containers, Ansible
- Experience with systems and IT support on setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with trading applications, financial instruments, trade lifecycle
Must Have:

- 5+ years of Java/Python deployment automation experience
- Solid Unix shell scripting experience

We've been developing trading software for our partner - a top-tier hedge fund - for over 10 years.
One of the teams develops deployment pipelines for AI applications. With evolving tech stack, we are looking for a new DevOps engineer join it.
You will work with traders and portfolio managers, developers, QA engineers, and other fellow DevOps engineers.
##### Responsibilities
- Build automation tools and support them
- Troubleshoot inquiries and outages
- should be able to work under pressure.
- Standardize workflows and keep QA, UAT, and PROD in sync.
##### Skills
Must have
- 5+ years of Java/Python deployment automation
- Solid Unix shell scripting experience
- 2+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps engineer responsible for deployment and maintenance of production systems
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- An appetite for process re-engineering and automation
- Good communication skills
