About the role

As a DevOps programmer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining systems that support and automate the many processes involved in game development. You will play a key role in increasing stability, optimizing our workflow and gathering telemetry. Your work will ensure the smoothness, stability, and efficiency of all developers.

You will work closely with various Activision studios as well as external partners in a dynamic and stimulating environment, contributing to the technical success of large-scale, international projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation tools and workflows that enhance developer productivity (slack bot, webservices, perforce interaction, etc).
  • Collaborate with experts across Activision to improve development velocity
  • Develop custom tools and processes to support our proprietary tools
  • Remote collaboration with teams across the globe.

Requirements

  • Entry level knowledge in c# and python or similar languages.
  • Entry level knowledge in REST APIs/web services
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience in relevant field (2 years).
  • Experience with visual studio/ vs code
  • Good/full proficient in French
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English to be able to interact with internal and external partners around the world, present projects or documents and use our shared technology and tools;

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of C++
  • DevOps experience
  • Knowledge of slack api, perforce api
  • Experience with Linux
  • Knowledge with Databricks, Elasticsearch
