They are seeking a data-driven, proactive Digital Marketing Manager for their Spanish and Portuguese markets, based in Madrid. This role focuses on driving new customer acquisition through digital marketing, including planning, managing, and optimizing campaigns across various channels. The ideal candidate is experienced in B2B digital marketing, a strong communicator, and adept at working with data and revenue-based goals, with a hands-on approach to developing and optimizing marketing initiatives.
Must have:
  • Plan, set-up and optimize digital marketing campaigns locally, including web, content, lifecycle, SEO/SEM, paid/organic social and display advertising.
  • Align with local commercial teams on strategy and messaging to generate sales opportunities.
  • Leverage analytic tools to determine effectiveness of campaigns and promotions and optimize daily.
  • Handle local media buying through direct deals and/or agencies.
  • Establish and manage collaborative relationship with digital agency.
  • Manage localizations and optimizations of local webpages, landing page creation, web translations, and local SEO.
  • Define, coordinate and execute comprehensive content & social media strategy.
  • Manage campaign budgets, analyze past campaigns and experiments, and report on performance KPIs.
  • Establish repeatable processes, templates and best practices for digital campaigns management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing and customer acquisition.
  • Strong background in SEM (both SEO and SEA), content marketing, organic social and other paid acquisition channels.
  • Results-driven marketing professional with proven ability to create, execute, and optimize successful campaigns.
  • Balance between strategic and hands-on approach.
  • Self-starting and self-motivated contributor with ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Spanish native speaker, high language proficiency in English.

Digital Marketing Manager Spain & Portugal

Adyen is looking for a data-driven, proactive and collaborative Digital Marketing Manager for our Spanish and Portuguese markets. This role will work from our Madrid office and report directly to the Head of Marketing for France and Iberia.

The digital marketing role is focused on driving impact for Adyen’s acquisition efforts of new customers through marketing. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, setting up, managing and optimizing targeted digital marketing campaigns across owned and paid channels, and for our content and social media strategy and execution.

You are our ideal candidate if you are experienced with B2B digital marketing, a strong communicator, fluent in working with data and revenue-based goals. You have a hands-on mentality, with an ability to develop, implement, track and optimize new marketing initiatives. This is a matrixed role collaborating across the local and global marketing teams to optimize Adyen’s impact through digital channels.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the global acquisition team to plan, set-up and optimize digital marketing campaigns locally, including web, content, lifecycle, SEO/SEM, paid/organic social and display advertising to drive full funnel impact.
  • Work closely with the local commercial teams to align on the most impactful strategy and messaging to generate sales accepted opportunities from digital channels.
  • Leverage analytic tools to determine effectiveness of campaigns and promotions across all digital channels. Optimize on a daily basis and ensure a data driven approach with an experimental mindset.
  • Handle local media buying through either direct deals and / or agencies,
  • Establish and manage a collaborative relationship with our digital agency including campaign briefing, day to day communication, media plans, campaign optimisation, budget allocation, evaluations and reporting.
  • Manage the localizations and optimizations of the local webpages for both our Spanish and Portuguese websites. Manage landing page creation, web translations, and a local SEO optimization strategy, in collaboration with an external agency and the central team.
  • Define, coordinate and execute a comprehensive content & social media strategy (e.g. website, LinkedIn, blog articles, case studies) to support our positioning and acquisition efforts across paid and organic channels, in collaboration with our PR & Brand and Demand Generation team members and our local content agency.
  • Manage campaign budgets, analyze past campaigns and experiments and report on performance KPIs as best suited for each channel and tactic
  • Establish repeatable processes, templates and best practices for digital campaigns management and growth, and drive growth within the digital marketing community by sharing learnings and knowledge through a cross-country collaborative approach.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing and customer acquisition. B2B tech experience is a plus.
  • Strong background in SEM (both SEO and SEA), content marketing, organic social and other paid acquisition channels (Social, Display).
  • A results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to strategically create, execute, and optimize successful campaigns for specific audiences, consistently improving marketing ROI.
  • Balance between strategic & hands-on: From developing a strategy to execution and optimization.
  • A self-starting and self-motivated contributor with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • A keen interest in experimentation and A/B testing, with a drive to challenge traditional processes and introduce innovative approaches (including those based on AI, like Google Search AI or ChatGPT referencing) to bring fresh ideas to established channels.
  • Spanish native speaker, high language proficiency in English, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Tool knowledge (eg. Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, Looker) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally 20%+
