Job Description

As Director of Field Marketing, you'll report to the VP of Marketing and lead TensorWave’s event and field marketing strategy. You'll manage a scalable, measurable program focused on pipeline generation, partnerships, and brand visibility across the AI ecosystem.
Must have:
  • Develop and manage a global events calendar; evaluate and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
  • Drive ROI-based decisions on sponsorships, event presence, and partner activations.
  • Oversee end-to-end planning: contracts, logistics, booth design, travel, and scheduling.
  • Execute standout activations—speaking slots, panels, private events, etc.
  • Equip sales teams with event toolkits, messaging, and lead follow-up processes.
  • Collaborate with Sales, BD, and RevOps to ensure flawless pre- and post-event execution.
  • Measure KPIs (pipeline impact, sourced leads, brand reach) and optimize future strategies.
  • Manage and optimize field marketing budget.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a global events calendar; evaluate and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
  • Drive ROI-based decisions on sponsorships, event presence, and partner activations.
  • Oversee end-to-end planning: contracts, logistics, booth design, travel, and scheduling.
  • Execute standout activations—speaking slots, panels, private events, etc.
  • Equip sales teams with event toolkits, messaging, and lead follow-up processes.
  • Collaborate with Sales, BD, and RevOps to ensure flawless pre- and post-event execution.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of B2B Field or Event Marketing experience; AI/cloud/deep tech a plus.
  • Proven success driving pipeline through event and field programs.
  • Skilled in balancing brand awareness with revenue-focused event selection.
  • Strong operator and strategist; thrives in both planning and execution.
  • Clear communicator and trusted cross-functional leader.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Kitt, or other marketing automation and event management tools.
