Your Role

As Director, On-Chain Finance Growth, based in London, you will lead Polygon Labs’ efforts to expand adoption of its PoS network and product suite—especially Katana—for payment rails and Real World Asset (RWA) use cases.

This is a high-impact, independent role where you will build strategic relationships across the UK and Europe’s financial ecosystem, bring institutional use cases on-chain, and serve as a trusted voice in one of the world’s most complex and influential financial markets. I

This is a contract, part-time role (2 days a week).

Your Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of Polygon Labs’ core technologies—Polygon PoS, Katana, and AggLayer—within financial services, fintech, and crypto infrastructure players in the UK and Northern Europe.

• Build and manage strategic relationships with top-tier institutions exploring on-chain use cases including payments, RWAs, and on-chain FX.

• Partner with the Product, Legal, and Growth teams to co-create localized GTM strategies and identify use cases to pilot across DeFi, digital banking, and infrastructure layers.

• Provide clear and actionable insight on the evolving UK and EU regulatory environment, helping to guide internal decision-making and partner strategies.

• Surface high-value opportunities aligned with product roadmap, including stablecoin infrastructure, low-cost microtransaction flows, and portfolio-level yield products via Katana.

• Act as Polygon Labs’ point of contact for institutional RWA initiatives, including integration of low-risk and high-yield vaults across the network.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years experience in financial services, fintech, crypto infrastructure, or blockchain—ideally in digital assets, stablecoins, payments, or DeFi.

• Strong network across the UK financial ecosystem—banks, payment providers, fintechs, and digital asset service companies.

• Demonstrated ability to independently lead strategic business development efforts, manage cross-functional initiatives, and convert opportunities into adoption.

• Strong grasp of on-chain financial primitives, institutional yield products, and how Polygon technology fits into market needs.

• Working knowledge of UK/EU crypto regulations and how they impact payments, tokenized assets, and institutional engagement.

• Excellent communication and executive presence—confident interfacing with partners and contributing to internal strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background at or partnerships with institutional crypto infrastructure, DeFi protocols, crypto payments & Fintechs/Neobanks.

• Experience bringing a crypto product to market with institutional clients.

• Prior involvement in early-stage GTM for blockchain financial use cases.

• Demonstrated autonomy in fast-paced, ambiguous work environments.
