Job Summary:

Sr Manager, SDET of Quality Engineering is responsible for the overall quality of Reltio products by ensuring that state of the art testing practices are followed efficiently by extensive use of automation, rigorous approach by defining and monitoring quali metrics and any new testing practices like AI wherever applicable. This position also has an important role in enabling and supporting both the internal and external customers/partners to be successful in using the Reltio product.  

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leadership and management

              ○ Oversee and manage the quality team

              ○ Provide mentoring and coaching

              ○ Build a culture that encourages collaboration amongst team members

              ○ Building performance first culture

              ○ Building a nimble organization that can scale up to the product needs and customer expectations

              ○ Ability to define, establish and maintain quality exit criteria for all releases

• Testing strategy and planning

              ○ Formulate and influence overall testing strategy

              ○ Focus on automation to improve efficiency

              ○ Participate in planning processes to provide quality inputs

• Compliance, reporting and standards

              ○ Comprehensive reporting of quality metrics for all releases to provide transparent information to customers

              ○ Thorough audit/review of QA practices to identify gaps and proactively addressing them

              ○ Knowledge of industry best practices

• Collaboration with cross functional teams

               ○ Ability to collaborate with development, product management and customer support teams

               ○ Practice customer first behavior during escalations by taking ownership a accountability of quality issues 

• Continuous improvement

               ○ Identify and lead new initiatives in quality improvements, customer satisfaction and reduce customer regressions by constantly looking at metrics and identifying areas for improvement

• Innovation in testing practices

• • Identify opportunities for innovating in testing practices by focusing more on AI/ML related applications
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and apply them in Reltio, wherever possible.

• Communication

                ○ Maintain excellent communication amongst team members, across senior leadership as well as cross-functional teams to provide periodic updates on project testing status, quality metrics and proactively managing risks

Skills You Must Have:

• Engineering degree in computer science/information technology; Master’s preferred
• Minimum of 20+ years experience in product development companies in different QA roles.
• Minimum of 10+ years experience in product development companies leading QA teams
• Experience working in product development companies in the data management domain; collaboration with a globally distributed organization a must.
• Experience and good knowledge on one of the public cloud platforms like Google, AWS or AZURE.
• Proven experience in developing quality metrics
• Ability to participate, discuss and contribute to technical discussions
• Experience with production/development operations role in any of the public cloud platforms
• Hands on experience/knowledge of quality test frameworks
• Hands on experience/knowledge of agile methodologies
• Prior experience working with contractors/partners for adding automation tests      

Skills You Must Have:

• Knowledge/certification of any AI courses
• Prior experience managing remote teams both within India and abroad
• Completion of any cloud certifications in AWS/Google/AZURE
• Prior experience working in MDM or Data Unification domain
