This role, within ALTEN's defense division, seeks an engineer specializing in series production. The main missions include ensuring product quality and reliability throughout the production cycle, guaranteeing conformity, managing technical issue action plans, and proposing improvements. The engineer will also contribute to competitiveness, capitalize on experience, and assist in obsolescence management.
Must have:
  • Guarantee and monitor product quality, reliability, and maturity throughout the production cycle.
  • Ensure conformity to production files for delivered products.
  • Manage and pilot action plans for technical issue resolution.
  • Propose and implement product improvement actions throughout the production cycle.
  • Contribute to RC competitiveness by analyzing deviations and improving efficiency.
  • Establish capitalization reports for RIPs to inject into developments.
  • Manage feedback throughout the product's production cycle.
  • Contribute to obsolescence management in conjunction with hardware and systems engineering.
  • Work closely with test methods for optimizing software and test benches.
  • Engineering school degree or Master's (Bac+5) in industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product industrialization and/or the electronics sector.
  • Skills in electronics, micro-electronics, hyperfrequency, and test benches.
  • Good knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, PDCA, DMAIC, QRQC, 5 whys).

Job Description

To strengthen its defense division, the Competence Department of the ALTEN group is recruiting an engineer specialized in series production, under the responsibility of the project manager.

Main Missions

  • Guarantee and monitor the level of quality, reliability, and maturity of products throughout the production cycle.
  • Ensure conformity to production files for delivered products.
  • Manage and pilot action plans for technical issue resolution.
  • Propose and implement product improvement actions throughout the production cycle (definition, quality, test coverage, etc.).
  • Contribute to RC competitiveness by analyzing
  • deviations and improving efficiency,
  • improvement proposals (internal & suppliers).
  • Establish capitalization reports for RIPs to inject into developments.
  • Manage feedback throughout the product's production cycle.
  • Propose and participate in product evolution during the development phase with RIPs as part of new studies.
  • Contribute to obsolescence management in conjunction with hardware and systems engineering.
  • Work closely with test methods for optimizing software and test benches (upstream/downstream consistency on test strategies).

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Graduate of an engineering school or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product industrialization and/or in the electronics sector.

Technical Skills

  • Skills in electronics, micro-electronics, hyperfrequency, and test benches.
  • Good knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, PDCA, DMAIC, QRQC, 5 whys).

Personal Qualities

  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Autonomy.
