Engagement Manager, (Market Access, Pharma Commercial Experience)

Saama is seeking for our Consulting practice, who has the experience and deep understanding of business analytics and reporting in pharma commercial, Market Access. Working independently under limited supervision, the individual in this role will plan, analyze, design, document, and co-ordinate to develop business analytics solutions for complex business problems. You will work very closely with both the Business and I.T., at all levels, to ensure successful delivery of solutions. You will be responsible for working and coordinating with multiple stakeholder teams to understand their business requirements, define and document user stories and requirements. With techno-functional expertise, the resource should be able to work with development team and drive projects tasks and assignments to their successful completion. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into user stories, document specifications, preparing design specifications, user testing and troubleshooting analytics solutions of varying complexity following the predefined standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a logical, rigorous, and analytical problem-solving approach, leading requirements gathering sessions and preparing and delivering client presentations and work products/prototypes
- Drive the implementation of Analytics Solutions that connect data systems and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
- Manage release schedules, prioritize projects, and ensure adequate resources are available
- Attend and lead meetings; provide project status reporting to management; assist with testing scenarios; and validate results
- Communicate business findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct and document complex business analysis projects
- Perform technical analysis to determine present and future business performance
- Create and execute solution test plans
- Work with data using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific analytics driven business problems.
Requirements
- Masters Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology is preferred
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a consulting environment is required.
- Project management/coordination experience and ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally across all levels.
- Skilled at defining and documenting business processes and requirements for ongoing system enhancement initiatives.
- Able to proactively identify risks, and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Broad understanding of the role of data management, information flow, and data governance.
- Able to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to interact efficiently with technical and non-technical groups.
Technical Expertise:
- Data Warehouse experience (design, development and/or implementation) is preferred.
- Experience with data discovery, analytics and reporting tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Qlikview, Tableau)
- Demonstrated advanced level analytical skills is preferred.
- Systems and tools (MDM, Salesforce CRM, Field Support Tools)
- Statistical experience (SAS, R, WPS, Python) is preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
This position requires the frequent and repetitive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Hand and finger dexterity is required.
