Job Description

The Engineer, Import Parts role involves managing part ordering schedules to meet sales and manufacturing requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining part system parameters, controlling inventory, and coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers for timely deliveries. The role also involves monitoring stock, addressing design and schedule changes, and participating in cross-functional activities for improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth supply chain and optimizing part inventory. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient part delivery.

  • Supplier management will be an advantage
Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IE) / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain /Logistics)
  • Experience in Material Planning, Material Requirement Plan & Inventory Management, Parts Control Background
  • Knowledge of Automotive Manufacturing
  • Good in English (TOEIC 600)

Job Description

  • Part ordering schedule management (firmed orders, forecast, and emergency part requirements) to meet the Corporate's sales demand and manufacturing requirement
  • Part System parameter maintaining and controlling
  • Part Inventory Control and Part Inventory day optimization
  • Liaison with oversea, local suppliers and logistics/freight providers for smooth part delivery as planned (on-time delivery with the right part and right place) Day to day part control (Stock alarms, Back order, Design changes, Schedule changes, Excess stock monitor,) Cross functional activities for Kaizen (Q, T, C improvement)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IE) / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain /Logistics)
  • Experiences in Material Planning, Material Requirement Plan & Inventory Management. Parts Control Background
  • Automotive Manufacturing
  • Supplier management will be advantage.
  • Good in English (TOEIC 600)
