Job Description

The Toulouse site is responsible for satellite systems engineering, payload design, and ground segment development. The Delivery department seeks an Engineering Delivery Manager for the Hardware Electronics France Competence Center. This role oversees planning, execution, and delivery of engineering tasks, ensuring objectives are met on time, within scope, and to client expectations. The manager will lead a 30-person team, manage project planning, risks, and report to the project manager. A BAC+5 degree is required.
Must have:
  • Lead and manage an engineering team (30 people) for technical solution delivery.
  • Manage overall project engineering activity planning, milestones, and progress.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues impacting delivery.
  • Apply company best practices and processes (E6 deployment, OBEYA management).
  • Report to the project manager on activity progress, open points, and plans.
  • Participate in tender response phase if needed.

Your daily life

The site is responsible for satellite systems engineering, the design and production of payloads, as well as the development and qualification of ground segments. It integrates a research center and an industrial accelerator for startups and ventures.

The Delivery department is recruiting an Engineering Delivery Manager for the Hardware Electronics France Competence Center. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering tasks. He/she will ensure that engineering objectives are met on time, within the defined scope, and according to client expectations.

By joining us, your main missions are:

  • Lead and manage an engineering team (30 people) for the delivery of technical solutions (performance, hardware, and software)
  • Manage the overall planning of engineering activities for a project, define key milestones and decisions, and monitor progress
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that may impact delivery
  • Apply company best practices and processes (E6 deployment, OBEYA management, etc.)
  • Report to the project manager (progress of engineering activities, open points and recovery plans, planning, risk summary, etc.)
  • Participate in the tender response phase (if confirmed necessary)

Your profile:

Are you capable of motivating, coordinating, and engaging a team on short-term objectives?

You have a BAC+5 degree and possess the following skills:

  • Experience in delivery management for digital subsystems
  • Experience with complex products with embedded software
  • Confirmed experience in functional management and team leadership (OBEYA, AIC..)
  • Notions of financial management (knowledge of PRIMAVERA and OASIS)
  • Fluent English (read, written, spoken)
