Job Details

As the Manager of Engineering at Lightcast, you will lead a team of software developers and play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence in software development. This position is designed for an experienced leader who manages and mentors engineering teams, oversees software development projects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge products. You will ensure our software solutions’ quality, scalability, and performance.

Major Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Project Management: Oversee software development projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Technical Expertise: Act as a technical resource for the team, providing guidance on software architecture, coding best practices, and problem-solving.
    • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with product management, design, quality assurance, and other departments to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
    • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee rigorous testing and quality assurance processes to maintain the reliability and performance of software solutions.
    • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of engineering efforts.
    • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, manage team schedules, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
