Job Description

Apollo supports some of the largest GraphQL APIs in the world, with customers like Netflix, Expedia, and The New York Times. The company aims to empower software teams to build amazing user experiences without dealing with numerous REST endpoints. This role involves owning and closing new enterprise customer deals in a rapidly evolving market, navigating complex organizations, and educating customers on emerging AI architectures and Apollo's role in their tech stack.
Must have:
  • Own and close new enterprise customer deals.
  • Navigate complex organizations and sell across various teams (platform, AI/ML, security, executive leadership).
  • Build and execute plans to engage enterprise accounts for AI agent use cases.
  • Educate customers on emerging AI architectures and Apollo's integration.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering for customer insights.
  • Track, forecast, and report on pipeline health and deal progress.
  • Proven enterprise sales professional with end-to-end sales process management.
  • Technical understanding of cutting-edge products (AI, infrastructure, dev tools) and ability to translate business value.
  • Skilled at engaging multiple stakeholders and running tight deal cycles.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and selling new products in emerging categories.
  • Ability to build long-term, trusted relationships.

What you’ll do

  • Own and close new enterprise customer deals, from first meeting to signed contract, in a new and fast-evolving market.
  • Navigate complex orgs, selling across platform teams, AI/ML teams, security, and executive leadership.
  • Build and execute a plan to engage enterprise accounts across industries deploying AI agent use cases.
  • Educate customers on emerging AI architectures and how Apollo fits into their data and developer stack.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering to feed real-time customer insights roadmap and positioning.
  • Track, forecast, and report on pipeline health and deal progress with precision and ownership.

Who you are

  • You are a proven enterprise sales professional with a track record of sourcing and managing a sales process end to end.
  • You're deeply curious and technical enough to understand cutting-edge products (AI, infrastructure, dev tools.) and translate them into business value.
  • You're skilled at navigating complex orgs, engaging multiple stakeholders (technical, legal, security, execs), and running tight deal cycles.
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and selling new products into emerging categories.
  • You're a trusted advisor; you build relationships that drive long-term value, not just one-off wins.

In addition to the U.S. base salary range, we also provide variable compensation, equity, and benefits. Apollo offers all U.S. employees a choice of 3 Anthem Blue Cross medical plans.
