Workato is seeking an Enterprise Development Representative to identify potential customers' challenges and create qualified business opportunities for their Enterprise Sales team. This role involves strategic outreach through various channels like LinkedIn, email, and cold calls to VP+ Enterprise decision-makers. You will curate targeted messaging campaigns, develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, and utilize CRM tools. Responsibilities include staying informed on industry trends, supporting early-stage meetings to qualify prospects based on business needs, timeline, budget, and authority, and educating prospects on Workato's benefits. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain positive business relationships, attend events, and advocate for Workato's products.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Enterprise Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be involved in discovering potential customers’ unique challenges and creating qualified business opportunities for the Workato Enterprise Sales team. Our EDR team is responsible for helping the largest global enterprises push their pace of innovation by identifying new opportunities and challenging the status quo. Workato is strategically expanding our client base in the Enterprise segment, and we're fueling its future growth with strategic thinkers who are intentional about a career in sales, and driven by personal growth and impact.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying and conducting strategic outreach to potential customers through various channels (LinkedIn, email, cold calls, etc.) on behalf of the Workato Enterprise Sales Team. 

  • Curating targeted messaging campaigns that resonate with VP+ Enterprise decision-makers. 

  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads. 

  • Utilizing CRM tools to track and manage leads. 

  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product launches to effectively personalize outreach strategies. 

  • Supporting early stage meetings to qualify prospects based on business needs, timeline, budget, and authority. 

  • Educating prospects on how Workato can benefit them financially and professionally.

  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.

  • Attending events (online and in-person) to meet with prospective customers & advocate for Workato’s products. 

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree. 

  • 6 - 36 months' experience. 

  • Ability to own strategy for generating pipeline into white space accounts.

  • High aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and influence both internally and externally. 

  • Strong ability to understand an enterprise and develop key points of contact in multiple departments across multiple levels of leadership. 

  • Research and data-driven approach to account planning to proactively identify opportunities from business-led discussions.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Self-starter who is invested in the team's success and can work in a fast-paced startup environment. 

  • Highly technically curious - enjoys solving problems from scratch with first principles.

  • Demonstrated success exceeding performance metrics.

  • A vested interest in growing a career with Workato.
