Enphase Energy is seeking an experienced IoT/Cloud Technical Leader for their EVSE integration team. This role involves leading effective product architecture and development across multiple products, mentoring a team of engineers, and providing hands-on technical expertise. Responsibilities include designing, engineering, deploying, and delivering solutions, driving improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes. The role requires collaboration with Product Management, Program Management, and Professional Services for technology upgrades and roadmapping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering best practices, proficiency in backend development (preferably also frontend), experience with Java and Spring Boot, and expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB. Familiarity with web technologies, design patterns, HA/DR, scalability, performance optimization, and working with high-throughput systems is crucial. The position requires excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Good To Have:

Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies
Familiarity with working with embedded or telecom or hardware products
Experience with IoT based systems

Must Have:

10+ years of software development experience
Strong backend and preferably frontend programming skills
Java + Spring Boot stack proficiency
SQL + NoSQL database experience (Mongo/Cassandra/DynamoDB)
Familiarity with web technologies, design patterns, architecture principles
Knowledge of HA/DR, scalability, performance, and code optimizations
Experience with high-throughput systems
Ability to manage own schedule and work on multiple projects
Exceptional attention to detail and good communication skills
Extensive knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Good knowledge and experience with Agile, TDD or BDD methodologies
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
Understanding of software quality assurance and security principles
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Bitbucket

For our EVSE integration team in the Cloud Business Unit we seek experienced IOT/ Cloud SW Technical Leader who will be able to work across multiple products to lead effective product architecture and development

Hands-on in various technologies, Mentor team of Engineers, on day-to-day duties as well as work with leadership team on strategic initiatives

Provide hands-on technical expertise to design, engineer, deploy, and deliver including driving improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes.

Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Program Management and Professional Services to ensure required technology upgrades/migrations/ and builds are well understood and planned into roadmaps.

What you will be doing:

Strong experience with best-in-class software engineering practices
Good programming knowledge in Backend and preferably in Front End as well
Polyglot programmer in Java + Spring Boot stack
Adept in multiple databases including SQL + NoSQL (Mongo / Cassandra DB / DynamoDB)
Good knowledge of web technologies, design patterns and architecture principles.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
Familiar with HA/DR, scalability, performance, code optimizations
Experience with working with highly performance and throughput systems
Ability to define, track and deliver items to one’s own schedule.
Good organizational skills and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.
Exceptional attention to detail and good communication skills

Who you are and what you bring:

B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
10+ years of solid software development experience
Extensive knowledge of at least 1 cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP)
IOT Based product functionality knowledge.
Good knowledge and experience with Agile, TDD or BDD methodologies
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
Understanding of software quality assurance and security principles
A technical mindset with great attention to detail
Ability to collaborate and work across team, functions, and geographies.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Bitbucket etc.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies
Familiarity with working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with IoT based systems preferred.
