Job Description
Legendo Games is seeking experienced 2D pixel artists to create sprites and backgrounds for retro-style games similar to TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and Katana Zero. The role involves creating pixel art and animations from scratch or reworking existing assets, including "Re-Pixeling" character animations. The artist will also create background art, including tiles and level blocks. This remote position requires expertise in pixel art software, experience with macOS hardware like iMac or MacBook Pro, and the ability to meet deadlines.

A Call For Experienced Pixel Artists
May 5, 2024 — Legendo Games is looking for experienced 2D pixel artists (16 or 32-bit style) to create sprites and background titles for retro-style games including sidescrollers like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, 30XX, Battle Axe, and Katana Zero — links below.
Job Description:
- Create pixel art and animations from scratch or by reworking existing assets.
- “Re-Pixeling” character animations rendered in Blender or Adobe Animate.
- Create background art, including tiles and level blocks in various sizes.
Qualifications:
- Expert user of various pixel art software and tools.
- Experience with macOS/hardware — iMac, MacBook Pro, or Mac Mini (desktop Macs!)
- Keeping up with deadlines — delivering on time.

- Remote.
