As a Field Engineer I, you will support gaming systems through pre-sales consultation, implementation, and post-sales technical support. Must have:

  • Experience with database administration.
  • Experience with enterprise networking technologies.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Experience with clustered servers.
  • Familiarity with containers (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience in casino or gaming environments is helpful.
  • Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus.

Job Details

As a Field Engineer I, you will play a key role in supporting our gaming systems through pre-sales consultation, implementation, and post-sales technical support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and delivering exceptional service to clients. You'll lead and support projects across server, network, and software installations, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure success.

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer sites, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute software installations, upgrades, and hardware configurations.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to software, firmware, and hardware.

  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely execution.

  • Provide post-installation support to maintain system stability and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to ensure adherence to all regulatory and operational requirements.

  • Document processes and create detailed reports to support continuous improvement.

  • Manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Travel up to 75% to support client locations and project activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of relevant technical experience. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization, and networking concepts.

  • Experience with database administration and enterprise networking technologies.

  • Familiarity with clustered servers, containers (e.g., Kubernetes), and SAN environments is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.

  • Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus.

  • Experience in casino or gaming environments is helpful but not required.

  • Must be eligible to obtain relevant gaming licenses, including Tribal Gaming Licenses.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 75 lbs. during hardware installation.

  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

  • Must be able to travel and work in varying environments, including customer sites with noise or smoke exposure.

Work Environment

Work is performed in the office, customer site, and lab environments. This role requires some exposure to active casino gaming floors.

Pay Range

$60,084 - $111,585 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
