Job Summary

Braintrust is an AI observability platform helping teams understand and improve AI behavior in production. This Field Marketing Manager role involves planning and executing end-to-end events like conferences, meetups, and webinars to drive pipeline and community engagement. The manager will also be responsible for bringing the brand to life through memorable touchpoints and developing regional marketing playbooks, operating with high agency and attention to detail.

Must Have

  • Plan and execute end-to-end events (conferences, meetups, webinars).
  • Manage event logistics: venue, vendors, staffing, swag, demos.
  • Partner with Sales for pipeline generation and acceleration.
  • Develop pre/post-event workflows and ROI dashboards.
  • Collaborate with DevRel on workshops and community activations.
  • Craft memorable brand touchpoints with PMM & Design.
  • Translate technical story into compelling field experiences.
  • Build repeatable field marketing playbooks for the East coast.
  • Operate with high agency, managing deadlines, budgets, and coordination.
  • 3-7+ years in field marketing, events, or GTM roles.
  • Experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, ML engineers).
  • Understanding of technical AI products (LLMs, evals, ML workflows).
  • Exceptional writing and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with EMEA tech ecosystems.

Job Description

End-to-End Event Execution

  • Plan and execute conferences, meetups, hackathons, partner events, webinars, and curated gatherings end-to-end.
  • Own venue sourcing, run-of-show, vendors, signage, staffing, shipments, swag, hospitality, and demos.
  • Nail every detail - timing, flow, aesthetics, and attendee experience.
  • Partner with Sales on high-intent regional programs that create and accelerate pipeline.
  • Build pre/post-event workflows and dashboards for conversion, sourcing, influence, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with DevRel on workshops, demos, hackathons, and community activations that energize AI engineers.

Bring the Brand to Life

  • Partner with PMM & Design to craft memorable touchpoints - from booths to dinners to workshop kits.
  • Apply great taste and aesthetic judgment to ensure the brand stands out.
  • Understand our technical story and turn it into compelling field experiences.

Regional Intelligence & Execution

  • Build repeatable playbooks for the East coast field marketing tactics
  • Leverage deep knowledge of venues, communities, and partners to elevate event quality.

Operate With High Agency

  • Move fast, unblock yourself, and run programs independently.
  • Own deadlines, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Juggle multiple workstreams without dropping details.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7+ years in field marketing, events, or GTM roles - ideally in B2B SaaS, devtools, or AI infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to market to technical audiences - developers, ML engineers, data teams - through experiences, content, and workshops.
  • Clear understanding of technical products (LLMs, agents, evals, ML workflows).
  • Exceptional writing and project management skills
  • High agency - someone who behaves like a driver, not a passenger.
  • Great taste and instinct for brand, aesthetics, and experience design.
  • Familiarity with the EMEA tech ecosystems: venues, communities, partners, culture.
  • Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively across Sales, PMM, DevRel, and Engineering.
