Job Description
Enphase Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment to provide on-site support to distribution and installation partners. The role involves traveling to customer locations to service Enphase PV and Storage systems, scheduling site visits, and coordinating with system owners. Responsibilities include performing on-site testing and diagnostics, completing maintenance reports and paperwork, updating the Enlighten monitoring system, utilizing various tools such as drills and ladders, running conduit, and participating in safety trainings. The technician will also maintain tool standards, provide customer service, adhere to OSHA safety procedures, train crew on installation techniques, review designs, and work independently. A strong focus on improving processes and maintaining high workmanship standards is expected.
Must have:
- 2+ years of electrical installation/service experience
- Valid driver's license, insurable, clean DMV
- High school diploma or GED
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to integrate multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Positive team spirit and integrity
- Commitment to safety procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel
- Ability to work outside regular hours
- Proficiency in reading plan sets
Good to have:
- Commercial or Residential Electrical license

About the role
Enphase Energy is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 6 month temporary assignment to provide on-site support to our Distribution and Installation Partners. This role will be responsible for making sure best-in-class service is provided.
What you will do
• Travel to cover the area of responsibility of our customers.
• Service Enphase (internal) PV and Storage systems in area of the Field Service Technician.
• Schedule customer site visits and coordinate activities between Enphase CS and system owners.
• Perform onsite testing and diagnostics of system performance and behavior
• Complete solar maintenance reports and paperwork
• Complete microinverter maintenance and update Enlighten monitoring system with changes
• Utilize relevant tools such as drills, level, square, tape measure, ladders, etc.
• Run conduit, copper pipe, flex, and pull wire
• Participate in regular safety trainings
• Maintain tool management standards
• Respond to customer needs promptly; Provide appropriate customer service
• Perform other duties as needed or directed
• Commit to OSHA Standard Safety procedures, above all else on jobsites
• Teach and train crew on proper techniques for installation
• Be detail oriented with the ability to review designs and develop a job specific BOS
• Work independently without oversight
• Commit to improving processes and efficiency, while maintaining high workmanship standards

• Employee must frequently walk, stand, climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Position will ascend/descend ladders
• Employee must use hand and power tools
• Work in high, precarious places; outdoor weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
• Work may require extended work hours to complete assignments and/or reach goals.
• Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds of tools, equipment, etc.

The base pay range for this position is $32 to $46 an hour. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions.
