Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

To strengthen our finance department, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Financial Accountant (m/f/d) in full-time (40 hours/week) who will responsibly help shape our accounting processes.

Your Tasks:

• Independent processing of all accounting transactions in daily business
• Proper and period-appropriate booking of all business transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, and fixed asset accounting) as well as reconciliation with the general ledger
• Execution of payment transactions and short-term liquidity planning
• Preparation and reconciliation of intercompany bookings within the group
• Calculation and formation of relevant provisions and active accruals
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting to our English parent company
• Responsibility for VAT pre-registrations, ZM, and monthly reports to the Bundesbank
• Conducting cost analyses to support management
• Participation in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Contact person for group companies and external tax advisors

Requirements:

• Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• Experience with an ERP system, ideally SAP ByDesign
• Structured, precise, and efficient way of working
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Team player, strong communication skills, and an open, friendly personality
