Job Description

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for driving strategic and financial planning processes, including the annual budget and rolling forecasts. They will oversee financial planning models, provide support across various functions, and manage the rolling forecast using Adaptive Planning. The role involves communicating financial results, developing SAAS metrics, evaluating strategic initiatives, and utilizing Domo for data insights. Additionally, the manager will maintain Adaptive Planning, lead cross-departmental projects, and manage relationships with business partners, including C-suite executives. What you’ll work on:

    • Adaptive Planning system administration, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting, G&A department strategic support
    • Partner with the Director of FP&A, broader FP&A team, accounting team, and business leaders to drive our strategic and financial planning processes.
    • Oversee the preparation of the annual budget, rolling financial forecasts, and the creation and maintenance of financial planning models, systems, and tools.
    • Provide strategic FP&A support across various functions, including business partnering, facilities planning, headcount management, and ad-hoc analysis.
    • Manage and refine the rolling forecast for supported functions using Adaptive Planning (planning software).
    • Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual results, including variance analysis, to executive management and other business leaders.
    • Develop and oversee the monthly financial reporting of key SAAS metrics and business drivers.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to provide analytical rigor and evaluate strategic initiatives.
    • Utilize Domo to deliver data and analytics insights to business partners, including interpreting and writing calculated fields (SQL), and creating Domo visualizations
    • Maintain and update the company's instance of Adaptive Planning.
    • Lead cross-departmental or ad-hoc projects in collaboration with other FP&A team members, such as maintaining the stock comp, fixed asset/depreciation, New ACV, product/vertical P&Ls, and commissions forecast.
    • Own relationships with business partners, including C-suite executives

Experience you’ll need:

    • 5+ years of progressive financial experience, preferably within SAAS
    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced model building
    • Strong understanding of SAAS and unit economics
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with senior executives and department heads as an objective and trusted advisor
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Experience with multi-national companies
    • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with various internal and external stakeholders
    • Meticulous attention to detail and superior time management skills
    • Expertise with Adaptive and Domo software (3+ years)
    • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred
$107,800 - $172,500 a year
This band covers the full salary range for the role. Your offer within this range will depend on factors like experience, skills, and internal equity.

Currently, Entrata hires in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Tennessee for Exempt roles and Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, and Florida for Non-Exempt roles.
