Seeking a freelance Senior Designer, Product to contribute to creative concept development and visual translation. The ideal candidate is an original thinker and team player, capable of aligning strategic direction with appropriate design results across digital experiences. Responsibilities include designing solutions that meet strategic objectives, creating interactive design concepts, mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids, and interface demos, and providing quality assurance on creative deliverables. A key aspect of the role is building and maintaining rapport with the creative team, account managers, and project managers.

4+ years of design and interactive work experience.
Strong design portfolio.
Strong visual, interactive, and graphic design skills.
Solid knowledge of latest design toolsets.
Experience with Adobe Creative products (Keynote, Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Figma and latest AI tools comprehension.
Visual design skills including experience design, UI, and branding.
Developed communication skills to articulate creative ideas.
Proven aptitude for fast-paced creative thinking and attention to detail.
Self-motivated and accountable attitude.

As a freelance Senior Designer, Product you are excited to contribute to the development of creative concepts that translate visually. You are an original thinker and a team player—matching strategic direction with appropriate design results across digital experiences. There’s a line between creative expression and commercial reality—but you’ve got that covered. You’ve tackled the basics of design-related applications—and a keen attention to detail is what makes your work stellar. Most importantly, you are driven by a passion for design.

You Will:

Design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives.
Create interactive design concepts.
Design mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids and interface demos.
Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables.
Build and maintain a rapport with creative team, account managers, and project managers.

You Have:

4+ years design, and interactive work experience.
Strong design portfolio.
Strong visual, interactive and graphic design skills.
Solid working knowledge of the latest design toolsets.
Time management skills to manage responsibilities and to always be prepared.
Experience in Adobe Creative products including: Keynote, Firefly, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Motion skills a huge plus!
An ability to brainstorm and contribute to the bigger idea.
Comprehensive understanding of Figma and some of the latest AI tools.
Visual design skills that include experience design, UI and branding design.
Developed and diverse communication skills to articulate creative ideas.
A proven aptitude for fast-paced creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
A self-motivated and accountable attitude.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.

Salary Range

$55 - $65 CAD
