Job Description

In this role, you’ll own the full lifecycle of game certification and release. From managing test lab submissions and resolving compliance issues, to giving the final go-ahead for launch — you’re the one who ensures everything runs smoothly and by the book. You'll collaborate with developers, QA, compliance experts, and regulators to bring top-quality games to players across UK, Malta, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Baltics, and beyond. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position perfect for someone who loves structure, problem-solving, and the thrill of shipping something great.
Must have:
  • Own the full lifecycle of game certification and release
  • Lead all game certification efforts in regulated markets
  • Liaise with test labs, navigate technical standards, and secure approvals
  • Ensure every certification issue is effectively handled by liaising with studio colleagues
  • Coordinate with accredited testing partners, submit builds and docs, respond to queries
  • Identify compliance bugs or technical roadblocks and work with internal teams to fix them efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of certifications, reports, and approvals
  • Act as the link between studios and labs, ensuring alignment on requirements
  • Coordinate game release with ops and product teams once certified
  • Update stakeholders on status, risks, and timelines, raising flags early
  • Drive process improvements using lessons from past launches
  • B2B experience in a similar role within a B2B game provider
  • iGaming experience in regulated markets and game certification
  • Familiar with UKGC, MGA, ADM, DGOJ, SGA, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple releases at once, keeping details and deadlines in check
  • Strong communication skills with labs, regulators, and internal teams
  • Detail-focused and analytical, able to interpret reports, logs, and testing results
  • Tech-savvy, understanding how games are tested and deployed
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, QA tools, test case systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

  • Own the Certification Process
  • Lead all game certification efforts in regulated markets — liaising with test labs, navigating technical standards, and securing approvals.
  • Ensure every certification issue is effectively handled by liaising directly with colleagues across the entire studio - including game developers, artists, animators, mathematicians and DevOps.
  • Be the Lab Point of Contact
  • Coordinate with accredited testing partners. Submit builds and docs, respond to queries, and ensure any issues are quickly resolved.
  • Spot & Solve Issues Fast
  • Identify compliance bugs or technical roadblocks, and work with internal teams to fix them efficiently — keeping projects on track.
  • Keep Docs in Check
  • Maintain accurate records of certifications, reports, and approvals. Make sure everything’s easy to find for internal teams and partners.
  • Bridge the Gap
  • Act as the link between studios and labs. Make sure everyone’s aligned on what’s needed before submission, and champion compliance best practices.
  • Greenlight Game Launches
  • Once certified, coordinate the release with ops and product teams — ensuring everything’s configured, tested, and ready to go live.
  • Communicate Like a Pro
  • Update stakeholders on status, risks, and timelines. Raise flags early, suggest solutions, and keep everyone informed.
  • Drive Process Improvements
  • Use lessons from past launches to improve workflows, reduce delays, and fine-tune tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications

  • B2B experience — you have been working in a similar role within a B2B game provider.
  • iGaming experience — you know the ropes of regulated markets and game certification.
  • Regulatory know-how — familiar with UKGC, MGA, ADM, DGOJ, SGA, etc.
  • Project coordination chops — you can manage multiple releases at once, keeping details and deadlines in check.
  • Strong communicator — comfortable talking to labs, regulators, and internal teams.
  • Detail-focused and analytical — able to interpret reports, logs, and testing results.
  • Tech-savvy — you get how games are tested and deployed and can navigate internal environments.
  • Tools experience — JIRA, Confluence, Excel, QA tools, test case systems.
  • Education — bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Project Management) or equivalent professional experience. Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European language skills are a plus.

Where You’ll Work

We're flexible.

This role can be on-site, hybrid, or remote, depending on your location and fit for the role. You'll report to the Studio Manager and work closely with QA, compliance, dev teams, and external labs.
